Richard Korebrits has been a long-standing member of Steinitz and an avid participant in individual as well as team-based tournaments. He first showed his fighting spirit during a pivitol team match at the Eden Championship in the garden route. Since then he has gained strength consistently and can always be counted upon to represent his club when it matters most. On a personal note, he does not have children but does have pets. One of them is a Siamese cat named Chess, after Alexander Alekhine’s famous cat by the same name.
