A regular participant in local and regional tournaments, Liam has quickly earned a reputation for his calm composure under pressure and his ability to outthink opponents of all ages. His dedication to improvement is evident both in his careful study of classic games and his active participation in club training sessions.

Liam’s favorite openings reflect his dynamic style: he enjoys playing the Sicilian Defense as Black and the Queen’s Gambit as White, often surprising opponents with inventive middlegame ideas. Beyond his competitive play, he is known for supporting fellow juniors, sharing insights, and fostering a collaborative learning environment at Steinitz.
