Curtis Gal discovered chess in primary school and quickly developed a passion for the game. He dreams of one day becoming a Grandmaster and is working hard to achieve this goal in the shortest possible time. One of his proudest achievements so far has been representing the West Coast region. In 2024, Curtis chose Steinitz as his first club, drawn by its strong reputation and sense of camaraderie.
